By default, When you install a preferred language in Windows, the default input language keyboard for that language will also be installed. If you have more than one preferred language, you can switch between input language keyboards to use when you type. How to enable or disable multilingual text suggestions in Windows 11

As mentioned above, Windows can assist you in predicting text without switching languages manually when you have more than one language and keyboard layout installed. Below are shortcuts and steps to change the keyboard layout in Windows 11.

Press and hold the Windows key and then repeatedly press the Spacebar to cycle through all your installed keyboards.  Press the Left Alt + Shift key to cycle through the last keyboard layout for each preferred language. Press the Ctrl + Shift key to cycle through the keyboard layouts only for the current language.

When you have multiple preferred languages installed, you should have a similar screen in Settings > Time & language > Preferred languages For each preferred language, when you go into the language option, you should be able to add an input keyboard layout. Now to turn on multilingual text suggestions, go to the Start menu > Settings > Time & language > Typing. On the Typing settings pane, select and click the Multilingual text suggestions tile. Then toggle the button to the On position to enable this feature. To disable, toggle the button to the Off position. That should do it! You can now close the Settings app. Going forward, you do not have to manually switch the language anymore with the Touch Keyboard if you type in more than one Latin script languages After updating the settings, try typing, for example, a chat message in Microsoft Teams, a document in Word, or a comment to a blog post in your web browser.
